Starting this year you can purchase your tickets online in advance! Click on the link below to select which show you would like to attend. You can then pick up your tickets at the box office before the show.
Please note that online ticket orders must be completed by Friday, December 9 at 6 PM.

Tickets will still be available for purchase through JUMP! dancers and at the box office day of. Purchases at the box office are cash or check only.

JUMP! is excited to announce our Fall line-up of events, including collaborations with the renowned Brooklyn Riders, our premiere at the Provincetown Dance Festival in Massachusetts and our 12th Annual SCENES FROM THE POLAR EXPRESS.

WHAT CHEER? IN THE PARK on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10. Join us as we celebrate the 375th Anniversary of Roger Williams' landing at India Point Park, along with performances by numerous other artists and musicians. CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS + OTHER REP

JUMP! is proud to be presenting its annual spring concert at the Carriage House Theater in Providence on Saturday, April 9 (2 and 6 pm) and Sunday April 10 (2 pm). As choreographed and performed by JUMP! dancers, this performance features excerpts from audience-favorite "CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS" and the premiere of the company's newest dance suite, THE MALL. Look for tap, modern, ballet, and "serious skill and discipline coupled with an anything-goes atmosphere" (Bill Eville, Martha's Vineyard Gazette). Great for audiences of all ages!

JUMP! Returns From Successful New York Engagement

Congratulations to JUMP! Artistic Director Mary Paula Hunter and dancers Elena Bonitati, Jaclyn Gagnon and Sophie Herreid for four terrific performances in New York February 24-27. Audiences enjoyed seeing our young dancers performing such sophisticated work, including JUMP! favorite "Sarah-Bot."

Thanks to everyone who attended JUMP! IN THE YARD at Firehouse 13 on October 2 and 3. Audience members were treated to classic J! repertory in addition to new premieres "Waltz After DC" and of course "Arensky Trio in D Minor" with live music from Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School students. All in all, a great way to start the Fall season!

Come see RI's talented youth dancers perform original choreography, including the premiere of ARENSKY TRIO IN D MINOR in a collaboration with the youth musicians of RI Philharmonic's Music School. Live music, fantastic dancing, cool venue-- it's a great way to support the arts in Providence!

JUMP! AT VARTAN GREGORIAN

Jump! dancers performed for the students of Vartan Gregorian Elementary School in Providence this June. The company runs an after-school dance program there, taught by its senior dancers, and hands out an annual scholarship to a gifted student from the program for full-time dance lessons and Jump! membership. The company is very excited to be presenting its newest dance suite, JUMP! GOES TO THE MOVIES, on March 6 and 7 at the Carriage House Theatre in Providence. In the tradition of VALLEY OF THE DOLLZ, this new work is a fun and diverting evening combining brand new dances with a few old favorites-- and all to J!'s favorite music from the movies. These include works by Ennio Morricone, Blondie's Debbie Harry, Yann Tiersen from the Amelie Soundtrack, and many more! This is a great evening for children and adults, and as always, featuring original choreography by our youth dancers.

Jump! was honored to be asked to take part in the Mayor Cicilline's Census celebration on Wednesday February 17. Young members of our company could be seen dancing on the Providence City Hall Steps in the mid-afternoon amid performances by other local youth organizations.

On December 13 and 14, Jump! will perform in Nordstrom at the Providence Place Mall. The performance is free, so come see a whole new incarnation of this holiday dance classic.

On November 1 and 2, Jump! presented VALLEY OF THE DOLLZ + Other Works at the Carriage House Theater in Providence. Audiences were treated to pieces like "Raggedy", "China Doll", "Transformers", etc. The company was particularly proud to present "Voodoo Doll" along with the commissioned score by Jessie Montgomery of the Providence String Quartet.

Jump!'s Bridge Dance

Our younger company members had a great time performing at the opening of a new pedestrian bridge at India Point Park, Providence, on October 18th. The dancers created a site specific dance around the area, and will perform excerpts from it in the VALLEY OF THE DOLL + Other Works performance November 1 and 2.

Paula Hunter, Jump!'s artistic director, has just finished a very successful run of her show "Home Alone 2" featuring four Jump! dancers. Johnette Rodriguez of the Providence Phoenix gave Hunter a glowing review, and reserved special praise for the J! members: "And back come Herreid, Norton-Bliss, and Stenhouse, three amazingly polished young dancers, who physical technique is matched only by their pose and acting ability in these sketches. They are joined by JUMP! tap dancers Jessica Coon in A Cup of Hot Liquid is a Dangerous Thing... Coon in terrific, keeping her taps a subtle percussive punctuation."

Jump! was thrilled to return to New York City to perform in the "Summer in the Square" series at Union Square. The company performed Carnival of the Animals under the hot sun and to a great crowd. Here are some photos from the performance of Swans and Elephants. The costumes for Elephants were designed for Jump! by Annika Schmidt, a RISD alum, who also designed "houses" for Tortoises especially for this New York appearance.
